Andrew Kroll Joins Trimont as COO

Andrew Kroll has become Trimont Real Estate Advisor’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kroll, who comes to the Atlanta-headquartered Trimont from SunTrust Bank, will take charge of the asset management company’s strategy, planning, operations, process improvement and project management activities.

While at SunTrust, Kroll served as COO, as well as head of asset management for corporate real estate and head of the company’s real estate REO team. Kroll was also head of dispositions and underwriting for structured real estate transactions with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey banking division.

In addition, Kroll worked in Wachovia Bank’s CMBS and REIT lending groups, and served as a project engineer for a large regional commercial developer. Kroll earned an MBA in finance, investments and real estate from the University of Georgia, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
