Seritage CEO Andrea Oslhan said conversion to a C corporation was 'the right next step."

Andrea Olshan Will Be Next CEO of Seritage

Seritage Growth Properties named Andrea Olshan CEO and president, effective March 16. Olshan is currently CEO of the family-owned Olshan Properties, a New York City-based owner/developer, and will become chairman of that company’s board upon her departure as CEO.

Edward S. Lampert, chairman of the board of trustees of Seritage, said, “Andrea is an exceptional executive who has all of the skills and experience that make her an ideal choice as the next leader of Seritage.”

He added, “As Seritage expands its development activities across asset classes, we will benefit tremendously from Andrea’s vast expertise developing retail, office, hospitality and mixed-use projects for Olshan Properties.”

At Olshan Properties, senior managing director Zachary Bornstein has been named the company’s president. Michael Odell will become executive managing director, head of investments and capital markets. Both executives have been at Olshan Properties for more than 10 years.
