Anderson Park District Hotel Delivers in Downtown Redmond
A six-story, 177-key Anderson Park Hotel opened in downtown Redmond. The Hilton Garden Inn-branded property is located at 16630 Redmond Way in the Anderson Park district. Bellevue-based Kauri Investments and Seattle-based Washington Holdings developed the $55-million property.
It is one of the few examples of a hotel opening up amidst COVID-19 disruptions. Designed by B+H Architects, construction on the property was completed during the pandemic and the developers moved quickly to adapt to new social distancing and safety measures.
The property features a Northwest lifestyle feel and approach. The main public levels are anchored around indoor and outdoor living with large terraces, and firepits that extend from the meeting space on the second level and patios and sliding doors in the café on the ground level.
