Anderson County Approves First Industrial TIF

The Anderson County Commissioners, along with the Industrial Development Board of Anderson County, TN, approved its first Tax Incentive Financing program (TIF) for industrial development. The TIF was approved for two speculative industrial buildings and site developed by the Hollingsworth Cos.

One building is already going north, and an additional one is planned, at Dave Jones Industrial Park, on Norris Freeway, approximately three miles east of Interstate 75 in Anderson County. Upon completion, the two buildings will total 126,000 square feet, of which 13,100 square feet will be commercial office space. The commercial office space has been already leased to A&S Building Systems.
