Anchin Adds Tax Partner in AEC Groups

Locally based accounting and advisory firm Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP added Joseph Molloy in its architecture & engineering and construction industry groups as a tax partner. Molly will be based in Anchin’s Midtown Manhattan office at 1375 Broadway.

Molloy has 20 years of experience in public accounting working with all types of business entities, individuals, and trusts. Anchin says he has an especially strong understanding of code section 460 “special rules for long-term contracts,” which he uses to help clients create and maintain tax deferral strategies, thus enhancing their financial position.

“We are delighted to welcome Joseph to Anchin,” said Phillip Ross, leader of Anchin’s AEC industry groups. “His wealth of experience will complement our team’s strengths by augmenting our service offerings and expanding our tax expertise across the construction, architecture and engineering industries.”
