Anaheim’s A-Town Mixed-Use May Start Soon

A-Town, a 43-acre mixed-use residential and retail development in Anaheim, could begin construction by the end of the year.

The Lennar Corp. project, which has been in the planning stages for years, could go before the Anaheim City Council for a vote next month. A-Town is planned for up to 1,750 apartments and condos, as well as 50,000 square feet of shops and two parks. When A-Town was first proposed in 2005, Lennar had planned 2,681 residences, as well as 150,000 square feet of office and retail, but those plans have been pared down considerably.

A-Town, which received planning commission approval last week, would have eight different residential areas, a grocery story, pharmacy and coffee shop.
