An Adjustable Playhouse for Kids, Designed by Kids
Grimshaw Architects, the firm behind the notable Fulton Center in New York and various projects worldwide, has designed a malleable playhouse for children. MySpace is a modular playhouse that turns kids into architects.
The playhouse is made of oak, and provides children with soft blocks that can be re-positioned throughout the structure. The MySpace was auctioned off in the Cubby House Challenge, a charity auction that benefits an Australian non-profit group fighting youth homelessness, Kids Under Cover.
The auction raised $92,500 to support the cause, and Grimshaw Architects won the award for “Most Interactive/Imaginative.”
