AmTrust Grows Again at the News Building

AmTrust Title Insurance Company expanded its space at 220 E. 42nd St., also known as the News Building, an office tower in Manhattan’s Midtown neighborhood.

“This is the third relocation and expansion by AmTrust since 2012,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property for SL Green Realty Corp., owner of the property, originally the headquarters for The New York Daily News.

AmTrust will fill 13,771 square feet to occupy the entire 24th floor of the 37-story Art Deco skyscraper. Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord. AmTrust plans to move in by the end of the year.
