Ampere Computing Renews Space at Tanner Point

Ampere Computing LLC has signed a deal to renew its existing 40,169-square-foot lease and expand by an additional 57,296 square feet at Tanner Point in Portland, OR. The semiconductor company originally moved its headquarters to the Pearl District office building located at 1250 NW 9th Ave. in August 2020 and will now occupy the entire second, third, seventh and eighth floors of the building, according to CBRE Global Investors, on behalf of one of its separate account clients.

The eight-story class-A office property offers tech-enabled creative office space. In the past 18 months, nearly 154,000 square feet has been leased at Tanner Point.

The CBRE team of Trevor Kafoury and Kevin Kaufman represented CBRE Global Investors in the deal, while the tenant was represented by Jake Lancaster and Andrew Rosengarten of JLL.

“The offering at Tanner Point including the building’s location in the north Pearl District, the energizing presence of Cooperativa on the ground floor and access to CBRE Global Investors’ proprietary A&B tenant experience program have directly contributed to the leasing momentum at the property. Tanner Point is now 85 percent leased,” says Kafoury.
