American Medical Response Eyes Office Consolidation

Two American Medical Response offices in Redlands are likely to be combined into one larger facility, which formerly housed Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The Redlands Planning Commission recently approved plans for consolidation into an 8,961-square-foot facility at 1930 W. Park Ave.

AMR operates out of offices at 1040 Nevada St. and 600 Iowa St. The consolidation would serve as an ambulance service and deployment center, with an additional 6,600-square-foot building developed for ambulance maintenance. The addition would also include an office, as well as luncheon and restroom facilities.

The consolidation would allow AMR to hire an additional 100 employees, bringing the total employed to 350. The facility would accommodate 77 ambulance units.
