American Landmark Acquires Multifamily Properties in Charlotte, Chapel Hill

American Landmark Apartments has acquired the 357-unit Ardmore King’s Grant Apartments in the Charlotte submarket of Concord and the 270-unit Ardmore Cates Creek Apartments in the Chapel Hill submarket of Hillsborough. The Tampa, FL-based company owns 34,000 apartment units throughout the Sunbelt.

The Charlotte apartments have been renamed “Conrad at Concord Mills,” and the apartments in Hillsborough are now “Cadence at Cates Creek.”

“These two properties allow American Landmark to maintain a presence in both the Charlotte and Raleigh markets as we sell off other assets within those markets,” said Christine DeFilippis, CIO of American Landmark.

American Landmark will enhance both properties with unit updates, landscaping beautification and amenity upgrades.

Built in 2015, Conrad at Concord Mills offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 740 to 1,430 square feet. Built in 2016, Cadence at Cates Creek offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 753 to 1,509 square feet.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
