American Kennel Club Comes to 101 Park
The American Kennel Club (AKC) found a new, 60,000-square-foot home for its national headquarters and its Museum of the Dog at 101 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan.
“The building is exquisite and supports the needs of our growing staff,” said Dennis Sprung, president of the AKC.
The offices of AKC will be on the fifth floor. A unique and extensive collection of dog art will be showcased on the lobby level and adjoining third floor of the 49-story building, which opened in 1982.
“The AKC joins a prestigious roster of tenants, including Morgan Lewis, Morgan Stanley, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Kelly Drye and Tiger Management,” said Peter Kalikow, president of building owner H.J. Kalikow & Co.
