American Dental Association to Move Chicago HQ to 401 N. Michigan Ave
The American Dental Association (ADA) will relocate the company’s headquarters to 401 North Michigan Avenue starting in the first quarter of 2025.
The move will include ADA occupying the top three floors of the building and a portion of the 32nd floor, encompassing 69,574 square feet. ADA’s lease consists of 9.4% of the building’s total rentable space, bringing the building’s occupancy to a market-leading 88.4%. ADA’s move comes after 60 years at its previous headquarters, 211 East Chicago, which was sold to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
The transaction was facilitated by a joint-venture leasing team led by Stream Realty Partners‘ Erica Marshall and Zeller’s Howard Meyer, who represented Walton Street Capital’s building ownership. Jeff Liljeberg and Jamie Fink of JLL represented ADA.
“This move allows us to remain in the heart of Chicago on the Mag Mile, and we are excited about the enhanced opportunities and amenities this new location offers our employees and our mission,” said ADA Executive Director Raymond Cohlmia, D.D.S.
