American Canning Inks 155K-SF Industrial Lease Expansion in Austin

Austin-based craft beverage packaging manufacturer American Canning has signed a long-term lease expansion to occupy a 154,786-square-foot facility at Park 183 in Southeast Austin.

The beverage packaging manufacturer plans to take occupancy of its larger space at building 5 in Park 183 in the Spring when it will relocate from its current 45,309-square-foot space in building 2. American Canning was founded in 2013 and makes canning supplies for craft brewers through an e-commerce platform. The manufacturer says it is ramping up operations in 2022 to meet the demand for its products, which has surged since craft brewers pivoted to packaged sales after wide taproom closures post COVID.

Park 183 is being developed by a partnership between the Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. and New York-based Clarion Partners. In total the park will consist of 950,000 square feet of industrial space when complete.

John Barksdale and Joe Novek of CBRE represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. CBRE’s Darryl Dadon represented the tenant.
