Amazon to Invest $100M in Indiana Manufacturing Facility

Amazon is planning to invest $100 million to establish an advanced manufacturing facility in Greenwood, Indiana, in a move that would also create 300 jobs.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced that Amazon will establish a new manufacturing facility in central Indiana by the end of 2028. “Amazon’s decision to locate this facility in Indiana is a powerful testament to the strength of our manufacturing workforce, our world-class infrastructure, and our commitment to creating an environment where businesses of all sizes can grow and thrive,” said Governor Braun.

Amazon will purchase and equip a 585,000-square-foot facility at 1175 Collins Road in Greenwood to produce products that power the company’s fulfillment and robotics network across North America. The facility will integrate advanced fabrication, robotic welding, automated powder coating and assembly capabilities.

The state’s central location and logistics infrastructure provide direct access to Amazon’s fulfillment network across North America, enabling efficient distribution of manufactured products to facilities nationwide.
