Amazon Rents 1.2M-SF Atlanta-Area Warehouse

Amazon leased 1,219,826 square feet at 1305 Highway 42 South, 20 miles southeast of Atlanta. PNK Group USA developed the site that was delivered in March.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the lease is likely the town’s largest so far this year.

In addition to Amazon, PNK Group has attracted other tenants to its Henry County complex. Those include mattress maker Purple Innovation and water treatment and sanitation company Ecolab.

JLL represents PNK Group in leasing.

Atlanta’s industrial market shows net absorption improving year over year to 2.6 million square feet in the black, per CBRE‘s second-quarter report. Leasing activity totaled 15.1 million square feet in Q2.

On its website, PNK Group says it is an investor and vertically integrated developer of multifunctional industrial buildings. As a full-cycle engineering, manufacturing, and development company, PNK Group develops its own technological innovations.
