Amazon Picks Up Another Aurora Warehouse Site
Amazon has purchased a warehouse and land in Aurora near Denver International Airport for over $91 million. A smaller purchase added vacant land to the deal totaling just over 13 acres adjacent to the warehouse. Both properties are located to the southeast of the East 64th Avenue and North Powhaton Road intersection.
The land is part of Porteos, a 1,287-acre commercial mixed-use development near the airport. The purchase includes an industrial building on almost 46 acres.
The 625,000-square-foot DIA Logistics Park Building 1 is located at 6300 N. Powhaton Road in Aurora. The site includes 288 parking spaces, 176 trailer parking spaces, and 92 docks. The company states that it is configured for bulk, local and regional distribution.
The overall DIA Logistics Park consists of eight buildings across 226 acres that are within and next to the Porteos Industrial Development.
There are a handful of Amazon warehouses in the city.
