Amazon Opens New 800K-SF Delivery Station in Revere

E-commerce giant Amazon has opened a new 800,000-square-foot delivery station in Revere. Of the 800,000 square feet, approximately 300,000 will be used for parking.

Located at 135 American Legion Highway, the station will create more than 200 full-time and part-time associate jobs, in addition to hundreds of driver opportunities for Amazon’s Delivery Service Partners and Amazon Flex drivers. Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, loaded into delivery vehicles and delivered to customers.

“The opening of Amazon’s new delivery station in Revere is a welcomed addition to the community.  We are excited by the more than 200 job opportunities made possible by this new facility,” said Massachusetts State Senator Joe Boncore. “Especially now, as our community gets back on our feet following the impacts of COVID-19, opportunities to move towards economic recovery are incredibly important. I look forward to this community partnership that will benefit not just the city of Revere, but our entire region.”
