Amazon Leases 91K-SF Warehouse in Everett
Amazon has leased a 90,970-square-foot warehouse in Everett for the company’s Leo satellite division.
Two years after vacating a warehouse in Everett, Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) has returned to the building with a new lease, and the Seattle-based tech giant will occupy the industrial facility at 6611 Associated Blvd., reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Amazon had occupied the industrial facility from at least 2018 until 2024, when it let the lease expire. The property hasn’t been physically occupied since at least 2022, and Colliers began marketing the property for lease in March of 2024. Located nearby is the 167,000-square-foot logistics hub for Amazon’s orbital satellite division, which was repurposed from a former delivery station.
Amazon Leo, formerly known as Project Kuiper, is the company’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite broadband network. The subsidiary was established in 2019 to deploy a large satellite Internet constellation providing low-latency connectivity.
