Amazon Expands Silicon Valley Footprint to 1.85M SF
Amazon is leasing 385,000 square feet of office space at Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Towers I in Sunnyvale, CA. The deal will boost the giant e-commerce company’s Silicon Valley footprint to 1.85 million square feet, which would rank as its largest concentration outside of Seattle.
The internet reseller is taking space at 1140 and 1160 Enterprise Way, within the 52-acre, seven-building Moffett Towers I campus. It already occupied nearly 1.5 million square feet of Silicon Valley office space, leasing roughly two-thirds of the total in Sunnyvale at Moffett Towers I, and at Moffett Towers II, as well as space in East Palo Alto and Cupertino.
NKF’s Phil Mahoney handles leasing for the Moffett Towers I property. Other tenants at Moffett Towers include Facebook, Microsoft, Motorola and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.
