Amazon Entity Inks 101K-SF Deal in Portland, OR

Elemental Technologies, a part of Amazon Web Services, has signed a lease for 101,000 square feet at 1320 S.W. Broadway in Portland, OR. The tech firm is taking the top four floors in a building that was once home to the Oregonian newspaper.

The company, which creates technology used to stream content across the internet, will relocate from its current 39,000-square-foot location at 225 S.W. Broadway to its new digs in May of next year.  The building to which it will move is currently undergoing renovation.

Seattle-based Urban Renaissance Group bought the asset in 2014 for approximately $14 million. The 165,000-square-foot building will be completed late this year.
