Amazon Data Services Inc., the data center arm of Amazon.com Inc., has acquired around 140 acres across four parcels in Manassas, Prince William County, for approximately $152 million, Washington Business Journal reported.
The parcels, located within Prince William County’s Data Center Opportunity Zone Overlay District, are zoned for data centers and offer fast-track permitting and by-right development. The parcels include two pairs: 27 acres at 7151 and 7350 Century Park Drive, situated less than two miles from the planned Digital Gateway data center campus; and 113 acres at 8401 and 8501 Vulcan Lane, next to a quarry owned by Vulcan Materials Co.
