Amazon Acquires 92 Acres in West Valley
Amazon.com Inc. acquired a 91.5-acre parcel of land in Goodyear, reportedly for $19.85 million. The seller was California-based Rados Properties. The site is near Cotton Lane and Indian School Road on the west side of Loop 303.
The e-commerce giant continues to expand its Valley footprint. The City of Goodyear indicated last year that Amazon planned to open a delivery station there, which would be the company’s third facility in the city limits, along with a fulfillment center and global operations center. Last year in Phoenix, the second phase of 10 West Logistics Center also delivered, which included an Amazon fulfillment center totaling nearly 570,000 square feet.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jim Wilson represented Amazon in the Goodyear land sale. Lee & Associates’ Allen Lowe of represented the seller.
