Alterra Property Group Secures 31K-SF Baltimore Warehouse for $4M
Alterra Property Group, LLC, has purchased 1200 Chesapeake Avenue in the Baltimore submarket of Lutherville, MD for $4.2 million. The single-story building consists of approximately 31,000 square feet of service/warehouse space.
MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC’s Andrew Meeder and Daniel Hudak represented both the buyer and the seller, a private ownership group in Baltimore. The brokerage has been selected by the new owner to handle marketing and leasing activities.
1200 Chesapeake Avenue is equipped with 18- to 21-foot ceiling heights and 21 drive-in loading doors with drive-though capability. The property is situated on more than six acres of land located immediately outside the Fairfield Marine Terminal, adjacent to the CSX rail line, a two-minute drive from Interstate 895 and a seven-minute drive from Interstate 95. Dundalk Marine Terminal is seven miles from the site, BWI Airport is nine miles and DC is 40 miles.
Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group.
When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
