Alterra IOS Acquires 18-Acre South Tacoma IOS Assemblage

Kidder Mathews brokers Mike Newton, Matt Murray, Dane Dahline, and Travis Stanaway represented Alterra IOS in the acquisition of an 18-acre industrial outdoor storage (IOS) assemblage in Tacoma, Washington.

With the main property located at 1124 112th Street E, the site was sold by the Rhine Family in an off-market transaction. The property features IOS land integrated with existing shop buildings, offering rare flexibility in configuration and low coverage. Alterra IOS—part of Philadelphia-based Alterra Property Group—has retained Kidder Mathews to provide leasing services for the property.

The property’s strategic location, adjacent to the Port of Tacoma and with highway access, anchors its position as a high-value asset in Tacoma’s expanding industrial landscape.“The property is positioned to be a strong long-term investment in a growing Tacoma market with appeal to a variety of IOS users,” said Matt Murray, SIOR, Executive Vice President.
