Alta Housing Opens $46M Palo Alto Affordable Housing Complex
Alta Housing, a community-based affordable housing organization, is celebrating the grand opening of Wilton Court Apartments, a 59-unit residential development for low-income households and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The $46.3 million development is located at 3705 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, CA.
The project provides independent living for households earning between 30% to 60% of the area median income and 21 of the units are reserved for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. “We are very excited to welcome residents to this beautiful new residential community, which brings permanent, high-quality affordable housing to many special members of our local community,” said Alta Housing CEO Randy Tsuda.
Community amenities at Wilton Court Apartments include a landscaped courtyard with a lighted overhead trellis, a ground-floor activity room, computer lab and laundry. The building is all-electric with a rooftop photovoltaic system and solar hot water panels as well as eight EV charging stations.
