Alston Construction’s Valeria Zamano Promoted to Project Manager
Alston Construction announced the company has promoted Valeria Zamano to project
manager for its Tacoma office. Zamano has been an assistant project manager for Alston Construction for six years, where she gained a strong skill set with project management and project supervision.
In her new role, Zamano will oversee the operations and activities of assigned projects, ensuring
they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. She will also be responsible for
assessing project requirements, preparing project specifications and estimates, drafting and awarding
subcontracts, and maintaining a detailed project schedule.
Zamano has an Associate of Science from Bellevue College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in
civil engineering from Saint Martin’s University. She also holds an Engineer-in-Training
Certification in Washington State. Established in 1986, Alston Construction is a general contractor focused on building industrial buildings, distribution centers, offices, retail stores and showrooms,
