Aloft Hotel Planned for Sandy Springs MXU Development

RevPAR Development has announced plans to build a 140-room Aloft hotel at Childress Klein’s and MidCity Real Estate Partners’ NorthPlace mixed-use project in Sandy Springs. RevPAR paid $3 million for the 0.65-acre site.

The NorthPlace project is located at Barfield Road and Mount Vernon Highway, near the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz U.S. The development will also include a 250,000-square-foot office and retail building developed by Childress Klein and MidCity.

Aloft is a contemporary hotel brand under the Marriott International Inc. banner. The concept offers a similar stay to the W brand, but at more affordable prices. The first Aloft hotel in Georgia opened near Centennial Olympic Park in 2014.
