Transwestern represented the ownership of 191 N. Wacker Dr. in Chicago's West Loop on two leasing transactions with law firm tenants

Allianz, Manulife Tap Transwestern for West Loop Assignment

Transwestern Real Estate Services was selected by Allianz Real Estate and Manulife Investment Management to provide leasing services for 191 N. Wacker Dr., a 37-story, 733,759-square-foot office tower in the West Loop. SVPs Katie Steele and Kathleen Bertrand and Midwest president Mike Watts will handle leasing.

“This building has always performed very well, and we are excited for the opportunity to continue driving leasing momentum on behalf of Manulife Investment Management and Allianz Real Estate,” said Watts. “Transwestern’s creative approach complements ownership’s overall objectives for the building.”

The building is 96% leased but will have a 100,000-square-foot block of availability in 2022. These high-rise floors offer expansive views of the Chicago River and cityscape.

In 2017, ownership completed significant building upgrades to the lobby, tenant lounge, conference center, and mechanicals. The property is within walking distance to Ogilvie Transportation Center, and also offers 150 parking spaces.
