Allen Matkins Welcomes Back Scott Howie in Irvine

Real estate and business law firm Allen Matkins has announced the addition of Senior Counsel Scott Howie to its Orange County, CA office as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department. Howie had previously worked at Allen Matkins before moving on to positions at Dzida, Carey & Steinman and The Irvine Company.

Howie has a broad scope of transactional real estate experience, representing developers and owners of industrial, office, retail and residential properties on acquisitions and dispositions, financing and leasing-related matters.

“Scott brings with him a long and impressive track record of high-profile real estate negotiations which fits ideally with the Allen Matkins brand,” said Drew Emmel, operating partner of the firm’s Irvine office. “We are excited that Scott chose to return; he will play an important role in the continued growth of the firm.”

Howie received his Bachelor’s degree at Pomona College, and his Juris Doctor at UC Berkeley.
