ALDI Reveals Westward Expansion
As ALDI enters its 50th year in the United States, the low-price grocer is doubling down on its nationwide expansion, announcing plans to open more than 180 stores by the end of 2026.
ALDI is announcing expansion plans into the state of Colorado within the next five years, with more than 50 stores planned for Denver and Colorado Springs.
As ALDI continues its westward expansion, the grocer will open 10 new stores in the Phoenix market in 2026 and plans to add a total of 40 new stores by the end of 2030. After debuting four stores in 2025, the grocer will continue to deepen its presence in the growing market with plans to double its current store count by 2030.
Additionally, the chain will open two distribution centers in the SW, one in Goodyear, Arizona (projected 2028)
and the other in Aurora, Colorado (projected 2029)
