Albion Residential Closes on Financing for First St. Louis Project

Albion Residential, a Chicago-based firm specializing in the acquisition and development of luxury rental apartments, has closed on its construction loan for Albion West End, the company’s first development in the St. Louis market.

Financed by Pacific Life Insurance Company, the loan enables construction to begin immediately on the 30-story luxury residential tower. Albion Residential has partnered with design-build firm Clayco as the project’s general contractor. The tower is being designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative.

Located in the heart of St. Louis’ West End neighborhood, the development will deliver 305 luxury apartment homes and 1,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The project represents a significant investment in the city and is a partnership between Albion and Koplar Properties, a local development firm in St. Louis.

“We are proud to bring the Albion brand to St. Louis through a project that represents everything we stand for—long-term ownership, first-class amenities, and best-in-class operations,” said Jason Koehn, President of Albion Residential.
