Albertsons Sells 700K-SF Refrigerated Warehouse to Crow Holdings
Albertson Cos. sold a 700,644-square-foot Randall’s Grocery freezer/cooler warehouse and distribution facility to Crow Holdings Industrial, the industrial development arm of Dallas-based Crow Holdings. The facility is situated on 70.2 acres at 10700 Telge Rd. in Houston. The sales price was not disclosed. Harris Central Appraisal District valued the far northwest Houston property at $35.9 million.
The new owner plans to expand both the site and facility with three additional buildings. Upon buildout, the total project size will exceed one million square feet, as the buildings target tenants involved with cold-storage and distribution.
The existing facility delivered from 1983-1999, and is comprised of:
• 398,000 square feet of grocery/dry warehouse space
• 119,500 square feet of perishable/cooler warehouse space
• 113,200 square feet of frozen warehouse space
• 6,200 square feet of air-conditioned office space
Homes Davis with Binswanger represented the seller. Cory Driskill and Will Mundinger of Crow Holdings Industrial were the buyer’s in-house reps.
