Two Albertsons industrial sites are up for sale in Los Angeles County.
Jones Lang LaSalle, which is marketing the properties, says their value could reportedly reach around $250 million. One of the Albertsons industrial plots is 78 acres, along with a one-million-square-foot distribution center, in Santa Fe Springs. The other is a 92-acre site, which also has a one-million-square-foot warehouse, in El Monte. Both buildings are used by the Albertsons-owned Safeway and Vons chains.
Albertsons is looking for a short-term leaseback for the supermarket brands while a new owner gets approvals for redevelopment opportunities.
