Alamo Drafthouse Unveils Changes in Newest Theater

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema LLC will soon open its newest location in the Mueller master-planned community, north of downtown Austin. When the theater opens in the 700-acre mixed-use development, it will offer some new touches, including gender-neutral bathrooms, with completely enclosed stalls.

The movie theater at 1911 Aldrich St. will also have an entertainment space called Barrel O’ Fun, which will be a family-friendly area by day, and a full-service bar after dark. The theater is also providing an updated food and drink menu, and six auditoriums that range from 45 to 140 seats.

Alamo Drafthouse founder Tim League said there will be “fun surprises in store for the Mueller neighborhood and beyond.”
