Surrounded by water, Alameda is adding 182 waterfront townhomes, replete with up-to-the-minute technology and contemporary architecture.
Landsea Homes Corporation (trading on the Nasdaq at LSEA) has officially broken ground on two new neighborhoods within the Alameda Marina’s ongoing, master-planned community.
From the event, via news release:
“Yesterday marked construction on our very first homes in Alameda. This is a city with rich maritime history, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the renovation and redevelopment of this exciting waterfront district,” said Josh Santos, Northern California Division President, Landsea Homes. “We’re even more thrilled to bring our sustainable, high quality and High Performance Homes to this part of the Bay Area.”
Landsea Homes will offer a total of 182 townhomes for sale in two different neighborhoods.
The first neighborhood, called Island View, includes 98 homes with seven different floor plans ranging from 1,462 square feet to 2,386 square feet. Waterside, the second neighborhood will include 84 homes with four floor plans ranging from 2,138 square feet to 2,689 square feet.
Additionally, 15 percent of the homes created by Landsea Homes will be offered under the county of Alameda’s affordable housing program.
