AIC floats plans for massive Orlando development

AIC Floats Plans for Massive Orlando Development

Public filings indicate AIC Hotel Group of Miami has plans for a 50-acre stretch of land near Walt Disney World. A mixed-use complex aims for five 25-story towers enveloping a total of 2.3 million square feet of space. 

The new AIC project will be built in three phases. Here’s what to expect:

  • Four hotels (1,934 rooms total) 
  • 50 residences 
  • 270 club member units 
  • 16 restaurants (102,094 square feet total) 
  • 30,800 square feet of retail space 
  • 35,860 square feet of spa space 
  • 70,730 square feet of meeting and entertainment space 
  • Lazy river and pools 

The company purchased the land in 2018 for $32 million. AIC owns several Hard Rock Hotels, including locations in Cancun, Punta Cana and Vallarta.
