AI Startup Quadruples Space in San Francisco Relocation

Unlearn, an AI company creating digital twins to optimize clinical research, has leased a 17,220-square-foot space in San Francisco. The company will take occupancy at Kilroy Realty’s 303 Second St. in the first quarter of 2024, relocating from about 3,500 square feet of space elsewhere in the city.

JLL represented Unlearn as well as Kilroy Realty in leasing negotiations. The JLL landlord team was spearheaded by executive managing director Chris Roeder, senior managing director Ted Davies and EVP Ann Montilla. Tenant representation was led by JLL SVP John Roskos and EVP Allison Hoffmann.

“Unlearn AI’s growth and expansion in San Francisco is another building block supporting the City’s resurgence and will add more people and activity that makes downtown such a great place to be,” said Roeder.

Unlearn, which recently announced Series C funding, has figured in clinical trials since its founding in 2017. Its technology powers the clinical trials of leading global pharmaceutical companies, helping them reach full enrollment faster and bring new treatments to patients sooner, according to JLL.
