AHV Launches SF Rentals Near Austin, TX

AHV Communities has announced plans to develop 84 single-family rental homes in Pflugerville, TX, a suburb of Austin. Village on Legacy will provide interior packages typically found in for-sale houses, such as granite countertops, walk-in closets, washer and dryer hookups and ceiling fans. Floor plans will range in size from 1,440 square feet to 1,882 square feet. Completion is anticipated for Q3 2017.

Mark Wolf, AHV Communities’ CEO, said that the company is looking for additional land to build single-family rental communities. Village on San Gabriel is open in Georgetown, TX, and the developer is planning another community in New Braunfels.

The renter profile, he said, includes millennials, young families and active adults in the greater Austin area. “Increasingly, people are renting by choice, particularly among higher-income households,” he said.
