Aggregate Real Estate Investors Buys MD Retail Center for $28M

Aggregate Real Estate Investors has purchased the Montrose Shopping Center retail plaza in Rockville, Maryland, from Rosenthal Properties for $28 million.

Aggregate Real Estate Investors, which Jacobsen formed after leaving Rosenthal Properties last year, partnered on the deal with Maisel Development, Farhat Cheema and Leo Choi, reported the Washington Business Journal. Jacobsen had most recently served as executive vice president and director of acquisitions for Rosenthal.

The seller was an affiliate of Rosenthal, which picked up the property for $20.5 million as part of a larger portfolio from Washington Real Estate Investment Trust in 2021. The sale to Aggregate came almost a year after Rosenthal sold its third-party property management and leasing platforms to The Shopping Center Group.
