A&G to Offer More Rite Aid Leases in 11 States, including WA, OR

A&G Real Estate Partners, the company acting as real estate advisor to Rite Aid amid the drugstore’s bankruptcy, plans to market an additional set of neighborhood pharmacy leases for sale. The move follows a previous tranche of 92 store leases that became available in November.

The latest group of 79 store leases will be made available in private sales, pending approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The leases are located across nearly a dozen states, with four locations in Oregon and 11 in Washington.

To date, A&G has marketed 180 Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs leases, and 73 of which have been removed due to a sale or rejection of the lease. Rite Aid continues to assess its property portfolio and may close additional stores to optimize its real estate footprint and improve financial performance.
