After Harvey Plus COVID, Resort and Event Center Open in Rockport

After Hurricane Harvey destroyed Cove Harbor Marina and Drystack in 2017, property owner Haythem Dawlett completely reconstructed and expanded the facilities. These renovations were completed in November 2020, just prior to COVID.

And now, Cove Harbor Marina and Drystack have opened two new Rockport facilities—the Cove Harbor Coach Resort and the Cove Harbor Event Center. Cove Harbor Coach Resort is a 42-slip motorcoach waterfront resort and clubhouse.

“Cove Harbor is the ideal destination for a refreshing Gulf Coast getaway during Spring Break, Easter or anytime throughout the upcoming spring and summer months,” said Dawlett. “There is nothing comparable in the area, and we are making it especially easy for families to enjoy the resort and event center with special spring pricing.”

Cove Harbor Coach Resort is situated on five acres at 2796 State Highway 35 South in Rockport next to Cove Harbor Marina.
