Affinius heading up La Cantera Mixed-use development

Affinius Heading Up Town Center at La Cantera

Affinius Capital is helming a mixed-use project in the La Cantera area of San Antonio that will one day include office, hotel, health and wellness, entertainment, retail, residential and park areas. The mixed-use project will be named Town Center at La Cantera.

Phase I, to be called La Cantera Town Center Multifamily, is designed to include 350 residential units and 10,000 square feet of commercial retail space. The first phase is currently under contract to Dallas-based Phoenix Development Co. The developer plans to break ground in the first quarter of 2025.

The San Antonio Business Journal reports there are expected to be numerous developers working on the project as it moves forward. It will be situated on a 50-acre parcel at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604.

The property is one of many holdings Affinius owns in the La Cantera area. La Cantera is also home to a Six Flags theme park, as well as the Shops at La Cantera (see photo).
