AFCO to Open 44K-SF Distribution Center in Lacey
AFCO Distribution & Milling has announced the opening of a new distribution center in Lacey, Washington, bringing its total warehousing to over a quarter million square feet.
Spokane Valley-based AFCO is opening a 43,830-square-foot distribution center at at 8551 Commerce Place Drive NE. AFCO has been warehousing and cross docking at a facility in Centralia Washington since 2023.
“As a regional distributor, AFCO can respond faster than national competitors in maintaining inventory levels and fill rates that exceed industry standards,” said Lloyd Campbell, vice president of wholesale operations for AFCO Distribution. “This expansion is a direct response to our customers’ needs.”
AFCO currently serves over 800 feed and pet supply retailers across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii and Alaska, offering more than 8,500 products. “Our goal with this facility is speed and precision, getting the right products to the right retailers faster and fresher,” said Steve Putnam AFCO’s chief operations officer.
