Dean Dulchinos has joined AEW Capital Management, LP in Boston, MA as head of debt portfolio management.

AEW Capital Management Names Dean Dulchinos Head of Debt Portfolio Management

Boston, MA-based AEW Capital Management, LP has appointed Dean Dulchinos as head of debt portfolio management, with oversight responsibilities for the real estate investment manager’s dedicated U.S. debt investment strategies and vehicles.

Dulchinos joins AEW Capital Management, LP from Amherst Holdings, where he served as head of SFR portfolio management. Previously, he was head of real estate debt portfolio management and capital markets at Barings, where he oversaw all commingled funds and separate accounts and was responsible for a team that managed $28 billion in commercial real estate investments in stabilized, transitional and construction strategies.

Dulchinos began his career as an attorney focused on commercial real estate transactions at Day, Berry and Howard (now Day Pitney) before joining MassMutual’s Law Division, representing the company in real estate lending, investment funds and private placement transactions. AEW Capital Management, LP and its affiliates manage over $89 billion of property and securities in North America, Europe and Asia.
