Aerospace/Defense Supplier Opens $200M Mesa Factory
Hadrian, an aerospace and defense supplier, opened a $200 million factory at The Cubes at Mesa Gateway. The Phoenix Business Journal reports that production is already underway at the 290,000-square-foot facility, which makes precision components for missiles, jets, rockets, and other munitions for the aerospace and defense industries.
Hadrian claims it helps aerospace and defense companies make rockets, satellites, jets and ships by manufacturing critical parts at high speed and lower cost.
The Mesa factory must fill 350 new jobs with a minimum average salary of $71,000 within five years in order to receive the job incentives the town approved last year.
Hadrian could also receive $6.44 million in a performance-based, refundable tax credit through the Commerce Authority if the project hits job creation and financing goals.
Last year, Hadrian raised $260 million in new capital to expand its footprint in California and Arizona.
