AEC Recruiter Donna Gaines Returns to Namesake Firm

Donna Gaines has returned to Gaines International, the executive search and recruiting firm she founded in 1981 to serve the architecture, interior design, engineering, construction and real estate development industries. Gaines, away from her namesake firm for two years after its 2014 acquisition by Houston-based Allen Austin, will lead Gaines International as managing partner.

Gaines is returning to Gaines International as it embarks on a new phase of strategic growth. She’ll split her time among offices in Chicago and Houston, and on the East and West Coasts, while serving clients domestically and internationally.

“The growth in the AEC sector in the last several years has opened the door for new and exciting possibilities,” said Gaines. “The opportunities available today for both organizations and individuals are unique and dynamic, and I look forward to furthering the success of the talented people in this creative sphere who ultimately shape culture and society.”
