Advisory Firm to Relocate its Capital Business HQ to Chicago
Healthcare advisory firm Curi Holdings LLC plans to relocate the headquarters for its capital business to Chicago after the company finalized its acquisition of Chicago-based RMB Capital, reported the Chicago Business Journal. Curi Capital is a division of Raleigh, North Carolina-based Curi Holdings.
The combined firm will be headquartered in Chicago. Between RMB’s nine offices and Curi Capital’s Raleigh office, the firm’s 180 employees will serve clients out of ten locations nationwide. The company plans to hire additional staff this year, according to the outlet. RMB has 72 Chicago-area employees, including eight in Oakbrook Terrace and six in Lake Forest.
Financial terms of the deal, which merges Curi Capital and RMB Capital and their combined $11.3 billion in assets under management, were not disclosed. Curi Capital CEO Dimitri Eliopoulos is now the CEO of the new combined entity, Curi RMB Capital. RMB founding partner and CEO Dick Burridge is the Executive Chairman and remains in his role as co-Chief Investment Officer.
