Adobe Breaks Ground on Iconic Tower in Downtown San Jose

Adobe Inc. broke ground on a 1.3-million-square-foot development in downtown San Jose. The 18-story building at 333 W. San Fernando St. will sit adjacent to the software company’s existing headquarters and be connected via a glass-clad pedestrian skybridge.

The existing three-tower HQ site is at Park Avenue, Almaden Boulevard, West San Fernando Street, and the Guadalupe River Trail and Highway 87. The new tower will be built on an entitled 2.5-acre site near the Diridon train station and the proposed Google transit village Adobe acquired last year for $68 million.

Adobe engaged Sares Regis Group of Northern California to serve as the development manager for the new Adobe North Tower. Planned as an all-electric building powered by clean, renewable energy, the project is aiming for LEED certification and is anticipated to deliver by 2022. The development will accommodate 4,000 additional workers, and allows Adobe to more than double its San Jose workforce.

Connect Bay Area is coming up July 18, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Get more information, and register to attend on this link.
