Admares Makes North American Debut with Bushwick Modular

Finland-based Admares  recently launched its first North American development, a commercial building at 58 Grattan St. in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. The project is a partnership with Porsche Consulting, and incorporates Building 4.0, a new modular construction technology developed by Admares.

The 58 Grattan St. development will offer more than 10,000 square feet of elevator-serviced commercial space, including three floors of up to five commercial loft/studio spaces. It’s being spearheaded by developers from The Skylight Development Group and Easy Street Properties, which has been involved in several New York City-based projects.

“Building 4.0 technology allows us to complete 100% modules in the assembly factory,” said Mikael Hedberg, CEO of Admares. “The completed modules can then be installed quickly over two days, causing minimum disturbance to the surrounding neighborhood.”

Admares is also building 16 floating hotels in Qatar that will serve as temporary accommodations during the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
